Behavioral health expertise
that works in the real world.
Twenty years of experience — fifteen of them inside acute care hospital settings, building and operationalizing behavioral health services under real clinical and operational constraints. This isn't theory. It's what actually works when the stakes are high and the resources are finite.
A clinical perspective, not a theoretical one
Many consultants come with MBAs and frameworks built in boardrooms. Brydie comes with an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and two decades of lived operational experience — the kind that comes from actually running programs inside hospitals, navigating competing demands, and managing teams through the kind of complexity that doesn't show up in textbooks.
The result is consulting that is practical, grounded, and shaped by an honest understanding of what organizations can actually implement — not just what looks good on paper.
- Leadership and team development skills that translate across industries and sectors — not just healthcare
- A clinical social work lens applied to people, teams, and organizational dynamics
- Recommendations grounded in what's operationally realistic — not just best-case scenarios
- Honest, straightforward guidance without unnecessary complexity
- A partner who understands what it actually takes to move people and systems forward
Areas of engagement
Leadership Coaching
For managers, directors, and organizational leaders navigating the demands of leading people through complexity. Coaching is grounded in practical skill-building — communication, decision-making under pressure, managing up and across, and building the kind of leadership presence that earns trust and moves things forward. Applicable across industries and organizational types.
Team Development
Facilitated work with teams to strengthen communication, clarify roles, reduce friction, and build the kind of culture where people can do their best work. Grounded in a deep understanding of human dynamics and organizational systems — not generic exercises. Effective across healthcare, nonprofit, corporate, and public sector environments.
Crisis Response Programming & Training
Design, development, and training for crisis response programs. Brydie is certified by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) in critical incident stress management (CISM) — evidence-based interventions designed to support employees in the aftermath of critical incidents. She also brings many years of experience training direct care staff in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and crisis management with clients and patients. Organizations get both dimensions: support for your people and preparation for your frontline staff.
Behavioral Health Workflows & Program Implementation
Consulting on behavioral health program design, workflow development, and implementation planning. Particularly useful for organizations building out new services, integrating behavioral health into existing care settings, or working to improve how current programs function day to day.
"I bring the perspective of someone who has sat in the chair you're in — and knows what it takes to move things forward in a system that rarely makes it easy."
Engagements are tailored to the organization, not delivered from a standard playbook. Whether the work is a single training, an ongoing coaching relationship, or a longer-term program consultation, the goal is always the same: practical, durable progress that your team can sustain.
