Counseling

Thoughtful, grounded support
for individuals and couples.

Life gets complicated. Whether you're carrying too much, feeling stuck, or navigating a season that just doesn't feel like you — this is a space to slow down, make sense of things, and find your footing again.

All sessions are fully virtual. Brydie currently offers telehealth counseling to adults across Rhode Island — no commute, no waiting room, just a private and convenient space from wherever you are.

Who I work with

Individual Therapy

One-on-one support

For adults who are dealing with anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or the kind of persistent overwhelm that's hard to name. Sessions are collaborative — you set the pace, and we work together to understand what's getting in the way and what might actually help.

Couples Counseling

Support for two

For couples who want to communicate better, get on the same page, or work through a period of strain. The focus is on building clearer, more honest conversations — and making sure both people feel heard in the process.

What we can work on together

Anxiety

Racing thoughts, worry that won't quit, or a low-grade tension that's become your baseline.

Burnout & Overwhelm

Running on empty, going through the motions, or feeling like everything is too much.

Life Transitions

Career changes, relationship shifts, loss, or any moment that asks you to figure out who you are now.

Motherhood

Identity, expectations, the weight of it all. The parts of becoming or being a mother that don't get talked about enough.

Life Stressors

The everyday pressures that pile up — work, family, health, finances — and start to take a real toll.

Couples Communication

Misaligned expectations, recurring conflict, or a growing distance you're not sure how to close.

Transparent pricing

Insurance — coming soon

Brydie is in the process of paneling with several major insurers. Once credentialing is complete, she will be in-network with the following plans:

BCBS Rhode Island United Healthcare Aetna

If you carry one of these plans and would like to be notified when in-network services are available, feel free to reach out.

In the meantime, here's what to expect for private pay:

Session type Length Fee
Initial intake — Individual 60 min $175
Individual therapy 50 min $150
Couples counseling 60 min $200

Payment is due at the time of service. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Out-of-network & superbills: If you have a PPO or out-of-network benefit through your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. Upon request, a superbill — a detailed receipt containing the diagnostic and procedure codes insurers require — will be provided after each session. You can submit this directly to your insurance company. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your specific plan; it is recommended that you call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before beginning services.
